Updates and what and when...

Dear diary,


Held a super duper early b'day celebration last friday. I was busy like fuck through'out the whole party .... but hey~ at least i had a great time! Seeing all my frens hanging ard and catching up a little with them really warms my heart. Thanks to all who took the effort to come. :D Initially we only booked the social lounge and 2 bbq pits.... wanted to book the function hall but someone else already booked it~ luckily for us they cancelled their booking at the last min.... so we took over their booking and moved most of the guest in there.... since it was raining and no one was quite into bbqing~ haha.

I was sooooo busy i didn't even have the time to change into something proper~ didn't even have time to slap on some makeup~ terrible! But i guess those volkas did help me 'blushed' a little... lolz.

Another piece of good news! I finally got a job! YIPEE! Went for second interview with the lab manager yesterday... waited for 40 mins before he came outta the meeting with the director and shareholders.... the 40 mins wait sure felt like 4 hrs!!! Anyhow the short interview session ended with him telling me abt how they need someone who's committed and with the technical knowledge and blahs~ i was thinking to myself maybe i will not be choosen already cos my resume sure doesn't shows how committed i am~ and i couldn't even answer some of his technical knowledge questions. BUT i immediately sat up when he said... the HR manager will tell u more abt the packages and what you are entittled to.Then i was whisked off to wait for them at the conference room again~ before the director bought me to his room and kinda formally informed me that i will be part of the bentoli family. Haha. So asked me when can i start work and i told him next monday. Then he took me ard the office and introduced me to some of the ppl there... there's another lab analyst there... and i was shocked when she told me that she's my junior~ anyway she's studied biotechnology... so must be a smartie lah... graduated just last year.

Anyway the company's a US company dealing with animal feeds... like cattle feed... fish feed... pet feed... and also their ingredients... things like additives and pigments ... and i will be joining the other lab analyst to carry out analytical tests ... pH test, microbial testing and stuffs. Since we're ard the same age... sure hope she'll be nice to work with. Lotsa learning will be taking place... giving myself 2 mths to familiarise myself with the procedures. :D
