Dear diary,

This is gonna be my last entry for 2005 . Time for some reflection and resolutions. 2005 is a year of some major changes for me. Let me seee.......

Reflections
  1. Got Business Admin Diploma from MDIS.
Wasn't too excited when i got this dip , cos it's 'looks' so damn tiny beside my Food Tech dip. LOL. Nevertheless, i am hoping that this tiny dip will be able to add some 'colour' to my resume when i go job hunting next year.
  2. Took on a few tuition kids. Realised that i really really enjoy teaching. It's really my passion. Thinking back , i could even travel all the way to bukit batok to teach that little boy. Schedule was quite crazy, there was a little bit of complaining to my frens , but overall it was really enjoyable teaching. Favourite student will be Arrico the Pri one girl staying at woodsvale. Thou the pay is seriously peanuts but it was so rewarding knowing that ur student enjoys ur lessons and that her mum is satisfied with u as well. Yur Dar, another one of my student also commented that he enjoyed my teaching . Makes me so haaaapppyyyyyy. As for the 2 indian students.... who kinda never fail to mess up tuition time .... welll..... weird.... that i do miss them sometimes.
  3. Packed off for an experience i will never forget , my first trip overseas with my gfs. Went to genting and KL. The mad shopping experience with joy~ *shake head* .
  4. After some long and hard decision-making, decided that a food science degree compared to a business one is more ME. Managed to conviced myself enough that i am strong-willed and independent enough to pack many many bags and head over to australia for a one year degree. Mum and cousin went with me to help me get settled down b4 school starts. Stayed over in brisbane for 5 months before coming back for my summer break. Staying alone overseas is an experience i know which makes me grow stronger mentally. Studying subjects which are as foreign to me as ABCs to babies , yet managing to pass it makes me realised yet again that every efforts count . Made some new frens from brisbane as well. If it's not because of them i dun think i will be able to adjust to life in brisbane as fast as i did. Learned how to cope with homesickness , lovesickness and frensickness. Look forward and yearn for what u believe in. My same old phrase... If u want the rainbow , u must first learn to put up with the rain.
  5. Family got closer to my neighbour downstairs. Serene and her husband got 3 super duper lovely triples, who are now pretty close to our family. Babies really do bring lotsa joy don't they. Watching they grow up day by day... i know i will be missing them again when i go back to brisbane.
  6. Relationship with sweetie has been rather 'as usual' . So nothing much to update. LOL. Duno if this is a good sign or not. But nonetheless, we're both clear of where we're heading and what we hope to achieve in the near further. There're so much we intend to achieve in 2006 , these are the goals which spurge me into embracing 2006. Our goals.
Resolutions

  1. Get my Bachelor of Applied Science ( Food Science ) !!!!!!!!!!! Wear that damn convocation coat!!!!!!!! In addition to that , i hope to get average GEP of 5 for the next semester. At least must maintain.
  2. Get a job upon graduation. I need a job to help me fufill my other goals ! So a good job which pays well ,meaning at least $1800... a 5 days week will be a PLUS! Hee.
  3. Lose weight~ has been my resolution for the pass 10 years at least. LOL. At least another 4 Kg .
  4. Apply for saving plan with sweetie.
  5. Feed my bank enough money for it to at least be 5 digit by the end of 2006. LOL.
Plus remind dear to feed his bank acc as well.
  6. Learn driving ! MUST MUST MUST! I promise myself and him and my sisters that i will not drag anymore already! I must learn when i get back.
Hmm... Guess that's abt it... kinda late.... bye~
