Dear diary,

The weekends are here...and b4 i know it , it will be the start of yet another school week. So much to revise , so much to do ... attention span and energy span going down down down. haha! not a good sign~ mum called today asking me why i haven't called home for so long... DUD~ lolz... i wanted to call last night but i figured she'll be playing manjong so o well... i'll thgt i'll juz ring her up after i get back from my conference today , but she beats me to it and called me when i was on my way back...got a few mins of... nagging from her... LOL...

She's rushing me to get my air tickets stuffs arranged and all... cos my return ticket's booked on the 3/dec , but i will be changing it to a much earlier date. So b4 they can book their ticket i gonna change mine first in order to coordinate all the tickets , so that we can return back to sg on the same day , same flight. So according to her and esther , the tickets are running low! Seats are being grabbed up and it's high time we secure a flight back. Well... since its the weekend the office will not be open anyway , gonna wait till monday b4 we can do anything about it. Juz went to check singapore airlines website and saw that they're indeed having a discount for a min of 2 person ... quite a deal. Mum mentioned that jelly might be coming as well , so that's good , at least there will be 2 princesses accompanying the queen while i study. haha! They're thinking on letting the 2 of them come on their own while mum come over first~of cos we'll be waiting for them at the airport.... but o well... dad's like all OK with the idea but i guess mum's feeling kinda apprehensive abt it... LOL! Hmm...... shall see....

Conference was quite boring ... LOL... most boring thing i've ever ever attended... stem cells and whatsnot. But i did perk up when they mentioned something along the line of growing a human brain using stem cell IN a rat's brain and they showed the slide featuring the all famous cartoon 'PINKY AND THE BRAIN' hilarious~ the song juz goes on and on in my head for the rest of the day... ' it's pinky and the brain , it's pinky and the brain ~ it's pinky it's pinky and the brain brain brain brain brain! LOLZ! sidetracked.. haha! ok... anyway... lotsa research are still going on .... gene therapy, stem cell research... blahs... and seems like they're quite close to achieving their 'growing a lung outta the body' thingy , and if they really make it work one day .... maybe...... we'll then be able to say grow a human lung in a sheep and say when someone needs a transplant we'll juz need to kill a sheep preserve the lung and tada! u've got a new lung~ BUT lotsa different issues are involved and many areas are still not being explored like what if the body rejects the lung and if it's ethical and blahs... haha! most of the talk was boring cos they were getting too technical ... guess these are the interesting bits.

After the talk , went to eat... SUBWAYS! lolz! the subway thingy was mostly fun but i was rather pissed off with their services and this particular grp there , sometimes i can't help but feel like the sales ppl / waitresses / ppl serving u... haha! yeah... can't help but feel that they're racist... and because u're chinese u dun deserve their full service.. bleah~ some of my frens feels this way too , others think that their service here are like really good compared to sg...at times like this i beg to differ. haha. home is still where i belong i guess , not cut out to migrate anywhere... living in brisbane for a short 2 mths already... but well... all i can say is that ppl here are generally OK , but racist are definately a part of what u'll meet on a week to week basis. Like within a week u'll definately feel like ppl are treating u differently cos u're a chinese~ o well.................~ juz the other day i was walking to the bus-stop and there were lotsa ppl waiting towards the bus-stop and there's this short staircase leading there. So i do admit that ppl who're going downwards, which includes me , needs to be considerate to ppl who're going to walk upwards, but the damn thing was that no one was walking upwards so ppl going downwards started to use the other side of the stairs as well... i was one of them ~ then outta the blue.... this stupid man juz shoved passed me ...( he was walking upwards) really is shoved RIGHT PASS ME like i am invisible k ~ so hard that i lost my balance but luckily esther was there to hold onto me... damn that idoit... and he didn't even bothered to say sorry or whatever... this is juz ONE example.... and sometimes when u talk to the sales person they juz like ignore u ~ like no one's talking to them and they'll quickly attend to another customer but not u ~ all this gets on my nerves ... makes me miss sg so much !!!

Thinking abt going back... hmm.... something like another 2 mths b4 i can get back... forever.... it's forever another 2 mths... ARGH!~! haha...

That stupid sweetie's going on course next week and no... he need not work on weekends.... PHEW! it'll juz be 2 weeks and 4 days course = 14 days.

All righty, one day worth of rambling non-stop.... shld continue another day... maybe tml... haha! going to get some work done , if nt i'm definately not going to catch up on my work...
